This week's Featured Stamper is Jen Guarino. She has a Gallery chocked full of fun and festive cards.
I was doing some organizing of my craft supplies this week when I ran across this older stamp and thought I should pull it out soon and use it again. Then I saw this card in Jen's Gallery and thought "it's meant to be" and so I pulled it out sooner than I thought I would be doing.
I kept Jen's fun colors stamping the flower in pink and then touched the tips of the petals with a Marvy marker and restamped for the same touch of purple as Jen's card. Since I had a lot of white space. I decided to cut the flower into three panels to create a little more interest. I matted the middle panel on pink card stock than mounted all three onto purple cardstock. I wanted to keep the square of Jen's card, so I added scrapper's floss to make a visual bar. Instead of her tab, I used a tag. Finished off with some stickles in the flower center.
I think this card looks like it should be sent from a parent to their young daughter, which I don't have. So I will be donating this card to W.H.E.A.T. which is an organization that sends blank cards to deployed military so they can write home.
Congratulations Jen on being this week's Featured Stamper. Hope you have a week as delightful as your Gallery.

Terrific case. I love it when those fun things happen, like it was meant to be. Glad you could use the stamp sooner than later. I like the vertical strips. The tag is cute. Great card!

Debbie, beautiful! Flower stamping is perfect with the inking accents on tips. Love how you split the design and use of floss to make your "square." Subtle shading beneath flower, awesome!
