I wanted to create a masculine Valentines Day Card, so thought RRCB's color challenge was perfect. I always try to surprise my husband with special occasion cards that are a little different, so a gatefold shutter card seemed the perfect solution.
I used Sandi McIver's great tutorial on how to create this type of special fold card. She has great instructions and a video at: https://sandimaciver.com/gatefold-sh...card-tutorial/ So I won't go into the details of it's creation.
The card uses all four colors that RRBC challenged us to use, and I like the results. I'd rate the difficulty level for this card as a "3", but if you follow Sandi's directions you won't have any problem at all! |
