This card is going out to Paul, who has lost two loved ones recently. The challenge is to feature an Oriental theme, so I pulled out this die cut that I got from a fellow Teapotter awhile back. I only had a small scrap of this pretty DSP left, so I made a split panel BG. I outlined the mattes in gold gel pen which I think always gives it a finished look.

Oh, I recognise that ;-). Do you know, I never even thought of using it. Just as well...The split mats work well, and the floral DP adds to the Asian feel without overpowering the card.

Beautiful blooms on the one side that work so well with your amazing Asian die-cut. I agree that the gold outlining gives a finished look to this lovely card~

Your gold framing is perfect for this layout and the dp is gorgeous. Great bg for that wonderful die cut. Definitely adds to the asian feel of the card. A wonderful paper hug for Paul.
