 | | Nothing like being a little late to the party. Okay, REALLY late to the party.
As I was going through my Lawn Fawn sets dividing them into sell, keep, decide piles, I came across a set that included several differently sized circle stamps. It was the perfect inspiration to get me to FINALLY give the bokeh background technique. I love the look, but I'm so "random placement" challenged, I've been a tad intimidated to try.
I pulled out one of the distress oxide ink blended backgrounds I had made awhile back and used Hero Arts white pigment ink to create my bokeh dots.
I took 2 of my celebrate die cuts - one in matte black and one in white glitter card stock and layered them such that the black "shadow" just peeks out a little behind the white glitter layer.
Assembled my card and called it done.
I liked how this turned out so much, I ink blended another panel and made a second card. |
