Originally, I was going to string banners spelling "thank you" between 2 lamppost images, like they were tied to the posts. Unfortunately, size-wise, it didn't work out like I wanted. I do still think it's a cool idea, but didn't have time to figure it out for this card. So I changed course slightly.
I had already stamped & die cut the letters, & didn't feel like starting over completely. So I die cut the backing banner pieces in the Spellbinders set from tan cardstock. I cut the individual banner sections in the tan pieces apart, and used them to mat my green letter banners.
I positioned the "thank" on my patterned paper card panel, which I initially cut to A2 size. I sketched a line where the tops of the banners fell, and ran a bead of glue along that line. I glued down my baker's twine, and added the banner pieces back with foam tape. I made sure to have the top of each banner piece overlap the twine, to make it look like they are wrapped around it. I repeated the process with the "you." I left the twine tails a bit long, just until the glue dried, then cut them even with the edges of the panel.
My greeting looked a bit high now, so I decided to die cut the lower edge of the panel. I added a piece of the same tan cardstock to the bottom of my white card base, & adhered my panel over that.

You mini banner turned out great. I don't know if I have the patience to make it work out this well. This is a great concept for a Thank you card. I love the way you combined the tiny plaid and the starry dsp. Thanks for joining my challenge.
