I pondered both the MMTPT and how I could fit it into the FF20 challenges most of the day. My mind was getting a little confused, pulled in many directions. Also was thinking about the color challenge, which I always struggle with. I let the CC go and concentrated on a card for our tea party recipient, Steve, who loves the out of doors, and I remembered this new die. I just took it out of the package today and, do you know, I have no idea where the packing went. It's somewhere in my huge mess. It's two dies, one of the postage stamp edges, but when you cut it, it's cuts the whole thing if you put the two pieces together. I sprayed the background with several DOx inks, flicked some water and then watercolored, very loosely, the scenery. Didn't get too fussy with it, which was right up my alley. PS The die is now on clearance at Elizabeth Craft, about $10.

Neat to have all your scenic elements locked in place by the frame (I usually end up losing a key element when I do scenes)- the loose watercoloring and spritzing make for a great outdoor scene.

I know how you feel about not knowing what to do for certain challenges. I'm glad your heart was pulled to make a card to cheer up Steve. I love these die cuts and your watercoloring on your wonderful outdoorsy card! Steve will love it!

What a lovely die, Jean. Except for the tall mountains, it reminds me of the lake by the cottage we stayed in this summer. I like it with the postage stamp framing.
