I used the closest colors I have in distress inks. The leaves were stamped on watercolor paper, misted with water and left to dry. The sentiment was added in black, the panel framed with honey nut and placed on a ripe avocado card base, that I embossed with a woodgrain impression plate.

Hello, mf! This card is a beauty!! I love the soft look of the leaves, and the backing in nut, and wood on green just ties it all together so well. Glad you go your card early........the cat just makes me shiver!! hugs to you and Bill!

What an interesting technique, and what a lovely result! The way the colors spread on the paper gives a beautiful and dreamy look! The woodgrain coordinates with the leaf design so well!
