I wanted to do something different! I used strips of various papers for the background, and Foam Tape to raise the image off of the papers and make depth to the image.

Nicely done on the herringbone bg - it's a super way to use up little paper scraps - I had never seen a female scarecrow before today and now 2 already in this challenge. This long-legged gal is adorbs.

Your herringbone background is great, Janet. Fun scarecrow image. She actually reminds me a lot of a little Russian doll (as in from Russia, not a matryoshka) that was my sister's favourite toy as a child - and when she lost him on holidays one year, my dad made moulds and cast a new head, hands and feet from resin. He had a cloth body - I think that's why your little scaregal reminds me so much of him.
