You'll ask yourself why a Christmas card in this gallery...
I was supposed to be at our daughter's new house but our departure has been changed, so I had already send a card from my stash.
I couldn't sleep and was thinking about Polly challenge, pattern, star...and this came together.
I used a star die cut and laid it on my water color paper, water colored the background with DOX, mixing the colors, then took off the star and doodled the star shape, laid the star back and stamped the script, took off the star and masked all around with post-it papers, stamped the inside of the star and water colored the snowy scene, added some snowflakes with posca, layered with blue on white and one more card for my Christmas stash!!
This is also for the the September Christmas challenge even if the star isn't an aperture I thought the scene looks like inside.

Well, I'm glad you had a chance to make this inspired by Polly's challenge as well as sending a card from your stash, it's beautiful. The background colours are just fantastic.

Wow, this is amazing, Anita! That background is fabulous, and I love how you masked off the star shape, and then doodled a border! Just wonderful!
