My card for the Dig Deep! Teaparty. We are digging deep into our stash to use stuff we haven't used in awhile. I didn't really have to "dig deep" for my paper flowers and brads, but I don't use them often.
Our recipient likes the color blue, loves to paint, and to take her dog on walks along the beach. She is also beginning a battle with cancer, so we are sending cards to send her some love and support!
The embossed oval piece was a gift from (I think!) Karen--Art Deco Diva, who sent it to me a while back (I'm digging deep for some of these gifted, hoarded goodies!). I heat-embossed the sentiment on the oval. Added some WOS to the embossed leaves, then attached the flowers with dimensionals. The brads in the corners are definitely "old school", anchoring the main piece to the card front!
TFL!

Ooh, great oval and I can see the WOS on those leaves. I just tried my WOS and sure did not sparkle like yours. This is soft and pretty looking in the blue and white!

Hey old school works! I love that embossed frame...so pretty and perfect for the flowers. I seldom use those flowers, too...need to dig mine out. She'll love this!
