I built this card around the plaid background. The background paper came from an older Echo Park Paper Company 6" x 6" pad. I like that it has red and shades of blue. The paper on top of it is actually a piece of plain vellum that I colored with Distress Oxide ink. I admit I had a heck of a time trimming that vellum to go on the background properly. It ended up being off just a bit. Oh well, that's the beauty and uniqueness of a handmade card!
The stamped image of the coffee cup was colored with copic markers and adorned with a silver embossed snowflake.
Enjoy!

I just finished a mocha and this card makes me want another!. I knew that was vellum but never thought to color my own (I have some colored vellum, I think from an assorted pack from PTI). That is a great idea to increase the versatility of vellum. Thanks for the inspiration!
