Annie's Birthday Card

I thought of this stamp when I saw that Annie likes gardening and flowers. So I stamped it and watercolored with inks. I had a die cut frame in white so I cut another in the DP and left a white frame around the bench. But i didn't like all of the white so I colored the frame with colored pencils and made it yellow. Added a fussy cut sentiment and stamped the panel inside with a birthday wish in the same blue. I also added some little gems to the center of some of the flowers at the top right of the frame, just for a little bling.

What a beautiful vintage watercoloured scene. I love the paper you chose Pat and what a good idea to colour the frame with pencils - I would still be knee deep in my stash looking for yellow cardstock. This is sure to bring lots of smile to Annie.

What a beautiful image and your watercoloring is superb. Love the pop of color the yellow frame adds, so I think you made the right choice. The dp looks made to be paired with that bench. Wonderful card.

That bench looks great between the pretty flowers, I could sit there and just breath nature!! Pretty paper and die cuts, sure my Mother will love this!!
