With most of us sticking close to home we've been a bit more creative with our art supplies. I'm using a piece of cardboard that I painted with white paint and then distressed by sponging on various distress inks. I stamped and cut the trees and added glitter. The boy is stamped using stazon ink on glossy paper and then cut out. I added some greenery die cuts, twine, and two small pine cones. (guess this will be a hand delivered card). Come join in the MIX this week and use your "found objects".

Everything I love about mixed media is all wrapped up in this card Polly. I could sit here all afternoon and look at this treasure. Wow you must have had a heap of fun making this. Brilliant card and brilliant challenge too!

Found objects is my favorite challenge. Any excuse for going digging through my box of treasures! That distressed cardboard makes the perfect backdrop for your stunning vintage Christmas creation!

You know this challenge is just for me, right?! I love using found objects. And your creation is just beautiful, favd. I admire your stamping of that boy, I struggle with photo stamps, never seem very sharp, no matter what ink I use.

I love that your textures match that wonderful wintery, woodsey look this has and yet so wonderfully vintage with that cute sweet faced child's photo. A wonderful Christmas card.

I love how that cardboard looks like an old wooden fence. Reminds me of the movie A Christmas Story where the boys are having a snowball fight in the alley. Great card.
