For today's TLC challenge, I am challenging folks to try the Scrape Painting tutorial shared two weeks ago. I always leave them in my inbox when I want to try them so I don't lose them or forget I want to try them. It is always fun when I can check it off my list and remove it from my inbox. This one was very fun!
I used acrylics from my stash - colors I like no brand specifics. I decided to go with an ocean theme so I finally tried out a stencil that has been in my stash a VERY long time! The sailboat (popped up with foam) and sentiment came are from a new stamp set at SNSS called Peace Be Still - I absolutely love it!!

The red sailboat is a great counter punch color for your aptly named ocean deep blues and greens.

The whirlpool is about to take the sailboat down very deep! This is a very cool looking background. Great sentiment and the boat is nice to add some other color. Beautiful card!

I wanted to try this too - I love it when a TLC gives me the extra motivation to actually make time to do it. Love your choice of colours for the sea, and the contrast pop of colour in the sail. With the feeling of a whirlpool going down into the depths, the sentiment works so well.
