Today's Tea Party is for Sandy in Illinois, a dear friend of Shelly (mcschmidty). Sandy is recovering from surgery and also fighting cancer. She loves flowers and her favorite colors are pink and purple, so Lisa has challenged us to use pink and purple flowers on our cards. I don't usually do flowers, but I do have a whole lot of flower digis, so I decided to use this one for the first time. It's actually a vase of flowers, but I blew it up to crop out the vase and make really big flowers on my card. And I printed the flowers across a whole 8.5 x 11 sheet, so now I have a sister card to this one with the flowers on the opposite side. I also decided to reach for some pink markers that don't see a lot of use and wow are they bright. They needed some Stickles as a finishing touch. I sure hope this helps to brighten Sandy's day!

I adore these big bold beautiful blooms you created. The stickles in the centers are just the icing on this fabulous creation. This is sure to make Sandy smile and be a standout in her garden of cards.

I love the rich and vibrant colors you used! And, really love the shimmer. Also, the sentiment is fabulous! Thanks for making a card for Sansy- this will be sure to brighten her day!
