I cut it from kraft for the base. The front two layers were painted with two coats of white acrylic, and sprinkled with some chunky glitter before it dried.
I really wanted to do watercoloured tissue paper for the background panels, but I don't know if the tissue paper I have is particularly fragile or if it's just that I was rushing to do it before work so that it would be dry when I came back to it. Both sheets tore, and while I can salvage them, they weren't going to be big enough to use for the background, so plan B was to use the same technique with a coffee filter. After work I scrunched it up and used Mod Podge to stick it to a sheet of thin white card, then embossed with some gold EP.
The TH trees are cut from a weird gel print which was a falling snow stencil on a green background. It didn't work on its own, but it looks fine as trees.
The deer are stamped and embossed in black on brown card. They're actually the same colour, it's just the angle. Photography is harder these days as DH's home work-station is right where I normally take them.
The sleigh was cut from metallic red for the base and gold for the overlay. I made some little reins out of silver cording and added them. To finish, I added some bunny rabbits and a gold star that was on my desk.

A new fold for me, too, may need to make one. The coffee filter added great texture to the snowy background. Clever save! Always enjoy reading your process.
