Welcome to the Mix-Ability forum and on this new challenge day! If you're here for the first time, we are so glad to have you join us. If you're wondering what our challenge is all about, take a quick look at "What is the Mix-Ability Challenge?"
Our new challenge today reflects how places around the world are reopening after experiencing levels of lockdown. Let's support safely stepping out into a new normal and express it in our project today.
Use a new-to-you way for your project to have an opening. Visit the Tutorials section and search for "fold" or "window" to find a new method to try out. Make sure to keep with the mixed-media guidelines of two or more media on your project and share it with us in your gallery adding "MIX380" as a keyword... that way it will be in the challenge gallery here.
I might try for a better photo tomorrow. It was fun, but I should have tried the fold first and then built around it, instead of starting with a card concept and trying to shoehorn it into the fold.
Welcome Gloria! It’s a fun challenge forum here and we stretch our creative crafting through mixed media, which we actually do more times than we think we do just with the supplies we have on hand.
Feel free to browse past challenges to get an idea of what we do here and come back again!
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up, as well.
This is a belated "welcome to the world" card for my third granddaughter for her Grandma Keepsakes box.
Challenge: use a new way for your project to open...search for a tutorial that is new to you. I have used the Pop-Up Box Card tutorial, aka Card-In-A-Box, which definitely opens in a new way. Mediums used: Versamark ink, Clear embossing powder, stamping ink, Copic markers.
