This is a bit of work from Altenew Academy: Demystifying Mixed Media. The gesso and embossing paste I used are from diy recipes, so the results may not be the same as those from store purchases. So far, they are holding up and I am getting similar results.
This is some homework for day 2 of class. Following class instruction, the card is a mix of gesso and watercolor. The technique focus was on a ghost stenciled effect. I had so much fun seeing the process actually working on my diy gesso, that I didn’t pay attention to where I placed my stamped image. I chose some dies that were a little too small to show off the ghosting, but I did manage to line up the colored cuts. I also forgot to pop up the colored section. So, I will give it a second go and try to follow instruction a bit better.
