My background paper and the flower strip at the bottom of the card are from Marianne Design :
"Spring Time".
I used the Marianne Design "Arched Window" (CR1259) referring to a chapel.
The embossed parts are sponged and the text inside the window is computer generated saying
A big smile
a sunny day
a little rascal
who does his First Communion" .
The sentiment "Congrats" is a sticker.
My little boy with the bird is from an old decoupage sheet, cut by hand and made 3D.
The branch is die cut in white line cardstock and sponged with brown ink.
The tiny leaves are punched and sponged with green ink.
The grass is made with an MS punch.

What a darling first communion card, Niki! Love how you layered the scene to make it 3-D. Thanks so much for knocking the No Stamping Challenge out of the ball park...especially since we are not likely to get to the ball park any time soon! LOL!

Till who knows, I'm sure...it still kind of jolts me when I hear about events not happening, events that happen all the time. Your card with the beautiful diecuts is such a keepsake, he will always have it and treasure it.
