 | | Card for Lisa's (Shoe Girl) Teapot challenge, Cutting Up, to use scissors on our cards--either images, or by cutting something with scissors. I stamped and colored the cacti on Very Vanilla CS, then fussy-cut them, with scissors!
The background was a leftover after stencilling the Rays for another project. I spritzed the stencil with water & slapped it down onto this piece of water-color paper to create a "reverse" print, & stuck it in my stash. For this card I added a bit of 'ground' to it with colored pencils. Layered the watercolor paper onto the rust CS, then added a couple layers of the 110# CS to pop it up a bit on the card front, on top of the polka dot layer. Popped up the cacti & sentiment with dimensional tape, & added the enamel dots.
I'm hoping this card will bring a little bit of sunshine to the recipient of this week's Teaparty. |
