Today's Tea Party is for contrapat's friend, Katherine in Missouri, who is battling cancer. Lisa has challenged us to "Cut It Up" in honor of our recipient who loves to dance. I grabbed a pair of novelty scissors and cut a mask to sponge my card with ink. Then I stamped the Fancy Footwork over the green and the sentiment on the bottom. I decided to use a pre-made patterned card base to jazz it up but it was still boring. So I stuck some rhinestones on it, but I didn't like that. Then I realized what it needed was a dancer. So I printed this sweet freebie image from Kinda Cute and colored and cut her out. She's just what my card needed. I hope you'll join us in sending paper hugs to Katherine today!

I love the "step chart" you used in the bg. It really sets the stage for both that sweet digi and the sentiment.

This is so charming and so delightful Jen and is sure to bring a huge smile to Katherine's face. I just love this delightful little gal looking at the step chart so she can learn to dance. I really enjoyed reading about your journey in making this card too. Fun! ~Karen.
