I blended the distress ink background and then distress ink blended and die cut the curves to represent the hills of in tea plantation. I stamped the little leaves on top. The book I am reading is about a murder at a tea plantation Ceylon (modern day Sri Lanka) during the art deco era. I thought I had a postage stamp from my collection when I was a kid, and found it and copied it on the color printer.

You had a great Art-Deco image to use, Sue Ellen. I guess that was probably around the era one of my great uncles was out there. I love your sun button and the leaf stamp you used to create the grass, and of course the elephant is super. Cool to have a copy of a real old postage stamp. Of course it's optional, just wanted to say don't forget to sign up on the thread if you do wish to take part in the exchange.

Great sponging and wonderful images representing your book...it sounds like a book I would like. I've been adding a lot to my list after viewing all the Teaparty cards.

Sue Ellen, this looks fabulous! Your book does sound interesting, on my wish list now, I’m drawn to books set in the Asian countries. Amazing you had a historical Ceylon stamp, love the Art Deco image and the beautiful sky! Thanks for playing~

Love your colors and that grass caught my eye right away! You put a lot of thought into this and it shows. How neat to have that stamp to copy and use!
