This page is for Sharon's Technique scrapbook challenge to make a pocket using a junk mail envelope. As I'm currently practicing making journals and using junk, this was right up my alley lol.
It will also go against the Alpha challenge N = Nails, and the Ways to use it challenge to tear it up.
This is the inside of the flip pocket and page.
Details on how I made the pocket are on another post in this page.
I love MM and keep trying new things. Some work, some don't. My problem is when to stop and using the right inks.
After stencilling texture paste on the CS I chose some spray inks. Unfortunately mine seem to have stopped spraying and I ended up doing more pouring lol. Gosh that pinky red gets everywhere. I also sprayed..ok I plopped on......green ink. As some of my bottles aren't cooperating I gave up and got out some TH inks and sort of painted and plonked colour on the CS that way.
It was at this stage I decided to stop as it was starting to get too wet and not quite the effect I wanted. Lots of drying.
I'm currently raiding my paper stash...what else to do when you are self isolating....tore some papers up, distressed the edges and added them, mesh and a wooden frame cut in half. More embellishments, stamped the date and called it a day.
The hand was out of a TH emphera pack and my journalling is written on the back. The photo is of my sisters finished hands and feet lol. It was such a great chill day with my sis who I only see every couple of years as we are in different countries.
TFL. Keep well and safe and happy creating.

I love your description Jayne, you are not alone with "pouring and plopping" ink spray LOL. Your pages look great my west coast Aussie mate, stay safe.
