I wanted to play along with Dawn's challenge today which was to feature a rainbow. I used Fantastix tools to apply the rainbow colors, and then sponged picket fence on them to tone them down a bit. I then sponged stormy sky all over the bg. I had some smooshed pieces from eons ago, and used them to diecut the umbrella and handle. The handle was cut out of all blue, so I sponged the vintage photo on the handle part. The pink had some shades of blue in it but I think it works leaving it the way it is. I dry embossed the panel using SU embossing mats. I stamped the sentiment in versafine clair first, but it looked watery, so I used Archival Vibrant Fuschsia and that looked better. Thanks for the fun challenge Dawn and thanks for looking.

Oh my, this is such a cheery card it put a big ole smile on my face immediately. Your sponging is just amazing Shirl and really takes this card to the next level. I love the super creative way you made your rainbow too. What a wonderful card this is for the challenge Shirl. ~Karen.
