I looked through my stash of old technique papers to find something colorful to do the Joseph's Coat technique. I found one I liked and then had a "Duh" moment. Turns out, it was a Watercolor Powder piece, so when I put Basic Gray all over my embossing it looked great at first, then the color started bleeding through the gray because I had activated the Pigment Sprinkles--especially after I wiped off the embossed images with slightly damp rag. Oops! So I went over it again with black StazOn. Had to use nail polish remover to get it off of the embossed images, but it worked. The colors are really vibrant.
Also, another tip, I used my Stamparatus to stamp the flower images several times before clear embossing. One of the problems with Joseph's Coat can be that the edges of the images aren't sharp. This, I think, detracts from the overall effect.

Beautiful. You know it would be a dream come true for me to see your ATC album. Your mishap along the way sounds like the sort of thing I would do! The StazOn certainly gives s magnificent jet-black finish.
