Hello everyone!!! Well we are wrapping up another year of awesome challenges offered by our Split coast stampers host. I am so excited to see what this next year brings for our family here. You are all so talented and extremely kindhearted. I pray each one of you has a overwhelming joyous year to come. Happy New Year my friends.
This week Stef has chosen the color combo of Real Red, Basic Black and Basic Gray for us to use with the dessert option of Winter/New Year sparkle.
I did not follow the rules this week. Iâm sorry Stef. I think I sparkles myself out of the holidays. My mind just could pull the dessert option together for the life of me so I had to skip it.
I have realized that I assemble my cards in a Willy Nilly fashion...backwards I would have to say fits the bill pretty well. I stamped by Angie Girl then colored her up. I thought...I really donât want to fussy cut her out because Iâm tired. So I grabbed my tree branch and started stamping that down. I opened my drawer and thought...well...that corner die would look nice with this image so I dry embossed the bricks using my corner die and my silicone mat with the big shot. I stamped my sentiment directly on the base but I didnât like the way it got lost in the branches so I stamped it and fussy cut it out to pop it up a bit. I used SU real Red chalk to tint some of the bricks and then realized that the lower right corner needed something so I put some black and gray washi tape down and added another sentiment.
It was pretty simple. I hope you enjoy this weeks challenge. I canât wait to see what you all will create.

Oh, wow! I just love this card. Love your unique way of creating, love all the elements and absolutely cannot believe you fussy-cut the greeting! It looks fantastic! Thanks for designing with us; it has been a pleasure having you on the CC team!

Your card is striking, I so love the sentiment/theme. Thank you for that description of your creative process as it seems so often to be the way I work and can result (as here) in a great card.
