Good Tuesday morning to you all!! The weather is finally starting to warm up a bit...thank God. Sitting in my cold craft room is such a treat. Sluggish glue, stiff fingers and cracking big shot plates...YIKES. Iâm ready for spring.
This weeks challenge is all about snow and ice so being cold may have helped inspire this card. Lol
Karen chose these beautifully classic winter colors for this weeks challenge ...Pool Party, Whisper White and Metallic silver with the dessert being snow and ice.
I started my card by stamping the background and embossing it with silver embossing powder. Next I stamped the sentiment in the center of the bg. Then...creative block. I sat and looked at it for a while.
After that pasted I looked at my ribbon which I donât use often because bows and I have a love hate relationship lol. What better to go with ice and snow by a few pine boughs. Yep...I totally went outside my comfort zone and added them to my card as well. When everything was positioned on the card I added the nuvo drops to finish it off. I really hope you like it. And I pray you all have a wonderful Christmas this year<3. Iâm so thankful that I have been blessed to meet and interact with all of you talented individuals. Have a glorious day.

You were truly inspired by the cold, as your gorgeous card definitely conveys a cool beauty with all the snowflakes and pretty lacy silver frame! And good for you to go outside your comfort zone, the pine boughs and ribbon are the perfect embellishment! I totally love this!!
Have a Merry Christmas, Kari!

A beautiful card, it looks almost to cold to touch, you’ve done such a good job with the snowflakes! A very elegant winter card, and a joy to look at Kari.
