 | | I found this amazing Peaches & Cream Ribbon under French Vintage on the Renaissance Ribbon website. It was the starting inspiration for today's card.
I started with the Tim Holtz mixed media diamond die which resembled the pattern in the ribbon - cut from cream cardstock then Layered over peach. I stamped the sentiment with Ruby ink and embossed with SU Gold Glory EP (using red under gold and blue under silver will give it more depth). I have always loved this sentiment on a Thank you card!
The rose was die cut from peach and sponge on the edges with a combination of orange marmalade and worn lipstick then layered over Orange glimmer paper. I die cut the leaves from forest green and mint then layered, offsetting just a hair for a highlight effect. Finished by adding a bit of definition to the leaves with a white gel pen. |
