Sending New Year's wishes to our hero SuperMiles with this mega challenge combo. This is my last challenge of the Bugaboo Holiday Critter Chaos. The challenge was to use this cute freebie with the penguin in the gift and keep it to only two layers with ribbon or twine. Angie challenged us to use sweet treats on our cards today. I have overloaded myself with sweet treats this week, because I'm quitting junk food for 2020. Cupcakes have not actually made the cut for my treat week. I just don't really like them, although they are certainly cute enough for my card. For today's MIX challenge, Anna has challenged us to coffe or tea, so I also included this mug digi in my scene. I'm a tea person, so it's a mug of tea. I colored the scene and then masked it to sponge the floor and wall. Splattered water on the wall for added interest and drew in floor boards on the floor--actually it's probably a table. Who would keep cupcakes and tea on the floor? Then I added my finishing touches of Crystal Glaze, stickles and white pen. The computer printed sentiment really faded into the picture until I traced over it with my black glaze pen. Now it really pops and shines. And lastly the ribbon for the Bugaboo challenge.

this is a WONDERFUL card and with so many elements. I never heard of black glaze pen, but I will google. I am a tea girl too, just love this composition and coloring, really uplifting! good luck on the junk food boycott. enjoy the New Year. Teresa

This is sooo cute! Amazing looking sweet treats! Katie's Cupcakes (my son's girlfriend) are the most amazing treat and that your cupcakes look just like hers! I love the penguin in the cup. Such a sweet card!

What a fun card for Miles. I enjoyed all the details - your wooden flooring took me right back to my childhood - except our floors had more cracks to let the draughts in.
