The bird image was stamped onto a label and partially cut out. Two word stickers were added. The LARGE feather is simply glued to the black gesso -painted wallpaper backing, which is mounted onto a brown envelope. The envelope is mounted onto a Bristol board backing and there is an easel back support piece attached so that so it will stand up, should the recipient wish to display it.

Beautiful piece of artwork...I love your creativity! I love feathers. I found an eagle feather below a nest years ago that I attached to a photo which hangs in our living room.

I would certainly want to display it. I always love finding feathers on the ground, and often pick them up. I remember when I was about 8 or 9 using a lot of feathers from my canary to make Christmas decorations. And I love your messenger birds - he reminds me of the pet jackdaw (crow family) that we used to have.
