Sabrina's challenge was to be inspired by actual window displays. In my city, stores with fabulous Christmas windows are long gone....we don't even have any large department stores downtown any longer. NYC still has fabulous window displays, but I haven't been there in awhile......So, I went to Pinterest for inspiration. I found this photo.
The bg was done with TH OI and a blender brush and sprayed and spattered with gold. I had previously stamped the ornaments and heat embossed with gold. The ornament were watercolored and the pine branches were freehanded with watercolors as well.

Sally, these ornaments remind me of Christmases gone by. Beautifully vintage, which I know are coming back in style. The way you have displayed them, make for a peaceful homey card. Beautiful watercolouring too.

Those vintage glass ornaments are beautiful, a great take on your inspiration photo. Our department stores have become much less traditional, and sometimes too avant garde to have much relation to Christmas. I always love your gold detailing.

I love the vintage look of your beautiful ornaments. Brings back sweet memories. Laying on pallets with all my cousins by the tree and dreaming of what presents would be under that tree.
