Have white base, then like a tan, then white as main piece. Stamped, colored and die cut birds, branch, and flowers, put on front added pearls, and added sentiment on top of a lightly stamped background section also in the best birds. Sponged the edges a little. Oh Dear felt like Miss Susie when she has bad day as all went fine til got the stamp perfect to stamp sentiment as had to stamp 2 times to get it dark enough----gave myself a pat on the back as looked great then went to add the images only to realize it was glued on upside down. Grrrrr---tried to peel off but tombow stuck good, so into the microwave it went to heat up glue---did come off after working with it, turned it the right way and put tape runner on to help hold but it broke as stuck to glue---so another tape runner and more glue and whew---was okay after all that----LOL---end of story---going out to a generous person!

What a card-making story! So glad you kept going. Your efforts paid off. Wonderful card. Love the 3-D elements with the birds, branch and flowers. The sentiment is perfect. Great job!

I really like the stamped fabric background behind your sweet birds, I love that sort of stamp, so versatile. I had to laugh, I've done that upside down gluing TOO often myself, even though I always try to remember to check it still happens from time to time. I'm glad you were able to rescue it.

I loved your story DonnaJeanne. You are so adventurous, zapping this in the microwave, never in a million years would I have thought to do that. I am very glad that those sweet birds survived hehe. The background looks and I love the colour combo too. Have a good day my friend.
