For this week's MMTPT589 Technique Cowboys challenge, from Jen. Since she thought of me when she included Faux Stamped Leather, how could I not run with it - and I think Fred Bear is always a good choice for more masculine cards.
Jen has a link to the tutorial in the challenge thread. I used a paisley background stamp, and then stamped and coloured Fred Bear and wondered where to go next. I thought adding a fence and a little grass would ground him, and then I remembered this very old set (one of my earliest purchases, now slightly soft but still stamping) and added a cow behind the fence. SU Word Bubble die, and hand-written sentiment. I doodled a frame around the kraft base and that's it. Time for my physio appointment, I'll be back to comment later.

Love that subtle but really cool doodling you added around the edge of this card. Cute card.

The bandana stamp perfect for this technique, Sabrina, wonderful bg, particularly with the doodled border around it! Your cowbear and cow look so sweet by the fence! A terrific card for this challenge!

Hehe! Love that bear and his cow friend looking over the fence! Fabulous scene with your always fabulous faux stamped leather background. We clearly have the same taste in techniques, because this and the bandana background are two of my very favorites!
