I make a lot of gift card holders but, I tend to stick to things I know so, when I seen the link to go to the tutorials I took a big breath and started watching the video of this one which I had never tried before. I think sometimes that is easier for me than seeing a list of how many pieces to cut ahead of time, to watch someone just do it and then go back to see the score line places. I did modify this from the tutorial as I have a pack of those bitty magnets ( somewhere) but, I have a metric ton of lace and ribbons so, its easier and a win in the use it up column to tie one on. there is a piece of score tape in the center of the short top flap that the lace is stuck to and then the image panel has a strip across the top back and about where the house sits so that there are brackets of glue around the lace that is stuck to the flap if that makes sense. I will put some more mug shots up on the blog later. These are headed to people at work who will receive gift cards for a local one stop shopping type store to buy a turkey ( or ham or what ever) for their family's holiday dinner. So, this is about the only time I do this many of one kind of a thing. I did do more of these for the booth I will do at the school next week so, there are more mug shots here on the blog. Wow you cranked out a bunch of great gift card holders. Love the paper too Stacy. I need to make another 8 gift card holders and am looking for fun easy ones. This is just a great one. Thank you for the inspiration.
