Combined both challenges today to make a birthday card for my stash. I'm running low. I bought this set at the Stamp Expo because I just loved all the sentiments, but this one was my favorite. Another sentiment from the set that I stamped on the inside is "Getting old is just a part of life. You go first."
I had fun making a mixed media three inch square background using DOX ink, Silk Luster, and glimmer paste through a stencil that I cut with my ScanNCut. I taped the mask on crooked, so I drew in a wonky frame with gel pen to distract from my masking mistake.
Fun, fun, fun!! Love this card! Your coloring is amazing and the mixed media panel looks absolutely perfect - no foolin', I thought you did this wonky look on purpose and loved it.

A great celebratory firework-like background you created there, Jen. I think I'm a little envious of your ability to cut your own stencils with the SnC.

Oh my gosh, this made me laugh out loud! Too funny! This image is fantastic Jen and so is your sentiment! The nuvo glimmer paste makes this card feel quite celebratory! Fun! ~Karen.
