Color Challenge â Mango with Roses and Pears and woodgrain for dessert
I started off to case a card that my SU demonstrator had made, so I could to try out my new Beautiful Friendship & Birch stamps. Then I veered off on my own. I do not have an inkpad in the rose color, so I substituted Sweet Sugarplum for the stamping of the roses; and then I scribbled the Rococo Rose marker on an acrylic sheet, picked up the ink with a finger dabber and sponged the color in the open area of the roses. I stamped the filler and leaves with mango & pear and sponged around them as well. The birch wood-grain background was stamped on the card base and the layers were adhered. Accented with faceted dots and seam binding bow. Left off a sentiment this time. TFL

So feminine and pretty looking. That birch background stamp (which I just got) is a keeper. Looks wonderful on this with your pretty floral panel, Diane!

Diane, this is oh-so gorgeous my friend. I adore this card design and the colors you used. How fun that you started off CASING a card, then got busy crafting and made it your own in the end. I love that! Hugs! ~Karen.
