 | | So, my son recently rented his first home ( its a duplex) and when I happened to see this birdhouse Cake in the site Stef picked for this weeks Inspiration. I was like oooh ( the two roof pitches looked like a duplex to me) At any rate, I decided to keep the texture of the cake but moved it to the background and then added in the colors as his favorite color is blue and I cut the house shapes by hand but, the roof is squares that were cut in half. It did not want to photograph but, the heart is a woodgrain texture and I decided not to cut a second heart in the behind house as it was covered up by the fronts roof.
