I have two cards using Jeanne's Dipsy Doodle. I went to my watercolor class stash for some ideas (I took about a dozen lessons a few years back) and decided to split one of my old paintings in half. I think both cards are very different from each other and one would wonder how they ever went together. This is the top part and second attempt at doodling. As I penned around the leaves, they started looking like little critters to me so decided to let them be the focal points and leave the Lobelia alone. I added some green pen to the leaves and gave each little critter a single red dot for their heart. Rounded the corners and gave it a squiggle border and stamped the sentiments. This was fun to do!

Oh my gosh! I see the critters now! HA! This is fabulous! I love that you left just the "critters" outlined, because those soft purple flowers look just beautiful as is. Great idea also to use the green doodling on the stems and leaves. I guess what I'm saying here is that I love everything about this card :0)

Gosh, it is hard to imagine that this was originally part of the same piece as the marigolds. The softness of the flowers is like that tissue paper with pressed flower inclusions. This has a summer holiday feel, lying in long grass and looking for the grasshoppers.
