Im exciting to guest host Augusts Teapotter Tickle and hope you dive into the challenge of watercoloring and doodling, which I might add... Im totally intimidated by both of these types of mediums, yet absolutely love the results of creating art with wild abandon, if only if its once a year!!
I started by dipping my brush into watercolors and loosely painted my panel in no particular shape or style.
Once dried, I doodled the flowers with a micron pen, added a few splatters, sparkly gel pen dots here and there, then diecut the panel on a stitched scalloped edge.
The vellum is cut with deckle scissors and the sentiment is diecut in a coordinated color to the base.
I cant tell you how many times Ive stamped, colored, and finished a card only to have a smudge or oopsie that occurs at the end that makes my heart sad after the fact.
This experience allows anything and everything no matter what the results and voila! There you have it!
A beautiful masterpiece that is all about you and only you!!!
Let your creative juices flow with this technique or options offered!!
Warm hugs and sweet tickles!

Any teapotter would be thrilled to receive this Jeannie. It is GORGEOUS!! I would never buy a Digi or rubber stamp again if I could create art like this my friend. I love you splatters too!

Jeannie, this is absolutely stunning! I went straight to the info area to see whose stamp this was so I could buy it! Imagine my surprise when I find out you doodled these flowers- wow! I am totally in awe of this gorgeous card you created Jeannie. You really set the bar high with this card, and I am totally thrilled! This is going straight into my favorites folder and one day when I am feeling brave, I may give this a go. Thank you for the amazing inspiration my friend! Hugs! ~Karen.

I love what you've done and I loved you brought me to something totally new!!Your design was so inspiring, but I must admit I've made 4, before I was able to make the cards I've uploaded for your challenge.

I'm so glad you created this amazing sample to inspire us - it certainly inspired me to push myself out of my comfort zone. I love the light, soft feel - it reminds me of the Penny Black florals at one particular stage when my budget was minuscule so I only bought one. Thanks for an interesting and inspiring challenge this month, Jeannie.

Right into my favorites! Jeannie, my goodness, this card is gorgeous! I certainly wouldn't call this doodling...it's so amazing! I can't wait to try this, but I'm sure I'll be like Anita and it will take me several tries! Such a fun and interesting challenge! Thanks!
