Im exciting to guest host Augusts Teapotter Tickle and hope you dive into the challenge of watercoloring and doodling, which I might add... Im totally intimidated by both of these types of mediums, yet absolutely love the results of creating art with wild abandon, if only if its once a year!!
I started by dipping my brush into watercolors and loosely painted my panel in no particular shape or style.
Once dried, I doodled the flowers with a micron pen, added a few splatters, sparkly gel pen dots here and there, then diecut the panel on a stitched scalloped edge.
The vellum is cut with deckle scissors and the sentiment is diecut in a coordinated color to the base.
I cant tell you how many times Ive stamped, colored, and finished a card only to have a smudge or oopsie that occurs at the end that makes my heart sad after the fact.
This experience allows anything and everything no matter what the results and voila! There you have it!
A beautiful masterpiece that is all about you and only you!!!
Let your creative juices flow with this technique or options offered!!
Warm hugs and sweet tickles!
