This is for Bev's DTGD challenge and in memory of my Mom. FB is showing me memories of all the "lasts" from my mom's last month 4 years ago. So hard and wonderful at the same time. I cut an Ivory base and used a scrap of dp that looks like an antique ceiling tile. It wasn't large enough to cover the whole front so I tore a dictionary page using one with mother as a heading word. I distressed these a bit by spattering some coffeestaining mix with a paintbrush. I diecut my flourish and adhered it over the diagonal. I had some leftover flowers that I made from coffee filter paper that my DH saves me from his pour over coffee making. I tore a piece of the dictionary page and the black and handwrote my sentiment.

How beautiful! I love the rose and the black against the page.
