Here we are wrapping up our month long Christmas in July (optional) Color Challenges. It's been a delight to have Diane, Holley and Terry joining the design team this month! Haven't they done beautiful work?
Our colors this week are Seaside Spray + Highland Heather + Pool Party with Bling for dessert. Seaside Spray is a soft new blue in the Stampin' Up! line up so if you don't have it you might consider using a very watered down navy.
I was dreaming about snowflakes when I picked these non-traditional colors but then I couldn't resist using them with Stef's color combination last week. So, I switched this week's card up a bit with snowy trees!
I started by mixing each color of the refill with Whisper White craft and swirling them around a quarter sheet of Whisper White card stock with sponge daubers. I cleaned some of the ink off the daubers by applying it to the inside of my Woodland embossing folder before running it through the Big Shot.
I cut a stitched rectangle in the swirled layer and added a piece of the Woodland embossed image behind it. I cut three trees from Sparkle Glimmer paper and added them to the left of the frame with a Seaside Spray greeting just below my frame. A few sequins add just a little bit more bling to balance off the sparkle of the trees.
I so hope you will find some time in your busy summer to create some art and join us this week. We'd love to see what you dream up with these colors!

Lovely card with those soft, dreamy colors. I love the idea of these more pastel colors for a holiday card. It has such a nice peaceful feel which will be very welcome during the busy days of the holiday season.

I love those sparkling trees and the way you created the window into the "woods".
