Found this Converse sandal right away, and it reminded me that today's the last day of June and the 4th of July is right around the corner. I used the edge of a stitched rectangle to cut the stripes, hoping it would give the flag a classy look. They're a bit wonky in some places so don't look too closely!

this was kinda a double edged sword for me, seeing what all cool things everyone is finding. ( I stopped looking as soon as I had enough of an assortment for the thread...) I heart those sandals you found and what you did here.
