CAS539 Holy Beach, Batman!

I'm back from a gorgeous day at the beach! Wow, the water is cold--they said 60 degrees. That didn't stop any of us from taking a nice dip!
This summer card is for a little boy who just finished his chemo treatments. A friend of mine asked me to make him a card to celebrate. She says he loves Batman, so I paper pieced the surfboard and swim trunks by making my own Batman DP using a coloring page I found online. Very straightforward coloring and sponging on this quick and easy card.

Aww! What a sweet card for a sweet little boy! So special of you to make this card. Brrrr 60! it was nearly 95 here and I ended up getting sick. We had errands and the AC was barely working in every store we went into.
