I thought about drawing it, but didn't want to do it an injustice - wow is it pretty. Instead, I got out an old bee stamp and sentiment I bought at a flee market and made a scrapbook page focusing on my sweet Grandson, Patton.
Did some ink blending (stuck on the technique challenge from Monday) and some sponging, and stenciling. Printed the picture on my Sprocket, blended a stitched frame die cut, and stamped some bees. I thought I would add some funky stitching at the top but it looks more like I scribbled a hot mess on it. I still love the page so I am sticking with it.
Can't wait to see all the fun stuff inspired by this darling site.

such a heartwarming take on the IC! Loving the spotlight on Patton. That is such a glorious picture. It is wonderful people are taking so many formal pics out in nature now. It's easy to see why your heart is so tender to him.
And what a memory you are creating for the future.
Nice to be your neighbor in the gallery today, mf.

Wow, I love this page, Nancy - the perfect picture you chose which has a vintage look, and all the sponging, colors and textures to creative an old time feel for this sweet little grandson! Lucky Patton! (I had to laugh about the stitching). Faved.
