I used watercolor resist for the main image panel. The bg was done with a Kraft base and streaking on acrylic paint. Embossed with a TH EF and then came back with some TH Distress ink to add more definition.

Sallie, this is just stunning. Your bg resembles a wood plank, and I love the delicate center of your sunflower. Looks like a doily. And your shading gives such depth. This could easily be sent to man or woman. Beautiful.

Your bg is just as Gorgeous as your sunflower, Sallie. Beautiful texture and shades, plus I always like to see splatters. Embossing the sunflower gives it a different look....so pretty and spring-like~

Fabulous use of the sketch. Love the beautiful sunflower. The white emboss resist is excellent. The coloring is wonderful. Love the wood-grain background. Gorgeous card! TFS

Love your watercolor resist sunflower! What a fabulous woodgrain bg. I'm always afraid to do the "splatters" because I'm afraid I'll ruin the panel. Yours looks great!
