Teaparty card going to cheer up Amanda who loves blue and Hydrangeas. No hydrangeas on my card - I looked for my old standby MFP Hydrangeas and they are not in the box. Found these other lovely flowers so I did some white embossing on my top panel.
The top panel was was a wash of all the blues in my watercolor set. After I washed them all on in different patterns, I flecked on some dark blue splatters. Then I took a paper towel dipped in white acrylic paint and dabbed it all over to cover up some of the splatters. In the process most the blues toned into one or two blues.
So I need some cookies - I don't have an embellishment on the card, but I did do my favorite type of coloring - watercolors. Maybe I could have a few crumbs?

This is refreshing, Nancy! And I'll throw you some of my favorite cookies, White Chocolate Macadamia. I really enjoyed reading your watercolor process. They give me hope for that artful field.
Your card will be a breath of fresh air for Amanda.

Isn't that always the way-you go looking for something and w-w-h-a-t? Glad you did not go down a rabbit trail looking for it but instead chose this gorgeous other flower stamp. It will show up at some point, when you go looking for something else! Loved reading how you brought this one about. It is so pretty!

That embossing resist is beautiful, Nancy. Amanda is getting so many hydrangeas, I'm sure a few different flowers will look great in her paper flower garden. I like the simple sentiment in black.

This is just gorgeous Nancy! I adore this background and how it sets off these beautiful white-embossed flowers. Thank you for describing how you made your gorgeous background. I am fav'ing this in hopes of trying this technique one day soon. I adore this card and I know Amanda will too! Hugs! ~Karen.
Hi, Nancy! I'm so sorry I've been MIA for a long time. Thank you for all the greetings and comments you left for me. I really appreciate. Blue is my all-time favorite color so it's such a pleasure to see your card watercolored in blue. What a gorgeous design with those elegant floral images and sentiment. Your cards are always inspiring like never-changing truth Hugs, my friend!
