Of course I made my scene a winter one using a stamp set with dies in a magazine I bought. Stamped elk in chocolate, sponged in chocolate & crumb cake then fussy cut. Added the trees in chocolate and stamped off some of them to show distance in the forest. Two of the trees were die-cut to show more depth. This set came with a stencil and border for snow, so I used both sponging the snow on the ground in smoky slate. First, I sponged the falling snow in blue so it would show up, but I didn't like it so used my gel pen to go over each flake. The chocolate panel is popped up. Thanks for stopping by! ~Roberta

Love your colors and I do see the depth of the forest. How great you had a snow stencil with your stamp. This is such a super card..great for a guy.

I like that dappled pattern across your deer and the deeper shading on the legs and head as well as the subtle snow drift in your forest - Beautifully done.

You did a marvellous job stamping those trees to show depth! The snow is so well done too though I don't really want to see anymore snow for a while! :-) I love the soft palette in browns. This is a great guy card!
