APR19VSNO The Doctor is Your Friend

APR19VSNO: Melissa challenged us to make a friendship card and referenced the Doctor. Since my youngest daughter is a Whovian, I went mostly with the Doctor Who side of the challenge though I have a friendship sentiment.

I used alcohol ink to create the background. Can you see the drops of ink? I learned that glossy photo paper works differently than glossy crafting paper!

I was gifted this phone booth image and, while it isn't actually a TARDIS, it is similar. Per my daughter's wish, I added a rhinestone to the top for the light at the top of the TARDIS. I watercolored the TARDIS with Night of Navy ink. I stamped, punched, and sponged the sentiment and popped both the image and sentiment with foam tape.

Thanks for the fun challenge, Melissa, it made my youngest daughter happy!
