Yesterday dini (Dina) posted a fabulous Mixability challenge, "Quilted Watercoloring." I pulled out several SU reinkers, and filled in spaces on my paper, drying between each color. There was some bleeding, because I went for heavy color saturation. I considered doing my heat embossing first, with clear powder, but wasn't sure if I was going to stamp directly onto the panel. After the color dried, I opted for the copper; can't get enough of this stuff! My panel looks more like stained glass than a quilt, but they have similarities, right?
I ended up cutting my panel in 2 so I can make another card. So, I added some dry embossed razzleberry, lightly rushed with metallic watercolor. The sentiment layer was pressed into some distress ink spritzed with water.
This took a long time, but now that it is done, I feel confident in doing this again in much less time. Thanks for a fun challenge, Dina!

How lovely! The copper embossing powder goes perfectly with the colors you chose. Love how you added distress ink to your sentiment -- it pulls the whole piece together.
